Pennzoil Activation Summary: Las Vegas

It was the last time we attend the Kobalt 400 at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway as we announced that starting in March 2018, the famous and ever-popular race will be known as the Pennzoil 400! The press conference on March 10th continued the buzz around Pennzoil and Team Penske that started earlier this year. The Speedway also announced a second race in the Fall of 2018, making it the place to be for the Monster Energy Cup Series.
We were joined by guests to experience the Best Seat in the House, a wonderful group of over 70 kids participating in the Fuel for Success program, and showed the excitement of NASCAR to many first time race attendees throughout the weekend.

Introducing The Pennzoil 400
The weekend kicked off in an exciting fashion, with another marquee announcement from the Shell-Pennzoil team on Friday, March 10th. Starting in March of 2018, the Monster Energy Cup Series race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway will be formally known as the Pennzoil 400. With the entitlement sponsorship comes a wide range of signage and exposure for the Pennzoil brand.
Exceptional activation opportunities for Pennzoil also open up and include things like: unique viewing experiences, beautiful hospitality setups with first class views, on and off-track fan engagement zones and of course all the top-notch Las Vegas venues and dining available. Fans and Pennzoil guests are in for a treat starting March 2018!

Youth Initiatives:
811 & Fuel for Success
The Fuel for Success Program provides underprivileged youth with mentorship and introduces them to the exciting world of motorsports. In 2017, 811 joins forces with Shell to educate youth about how important it is for their parents to Call 811 Before You Dig. To celebrate the collaboration of 811 and Shell, in addition to the 10th birthday of 811, we are campaigning to affect 811 kids this year. The important safety message of 811 was extended with prime message placement on the #22 Pennzoil Ford Decklid. With 75 guests participating this past weekend at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, it was a great start to a meaningful year.

The Performance Racing Network (PRN) is one of two NASCAR licensed multi-broadcast radio networks which markets, produces and distributes motorsports programming 365 days a year. Included in their 13 broadcasts of the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series races, are integrated call outs around caution flags for 811's important safety message.
Guest Experience
Guest Experience
We hosted guests for pit road walks, garage tours, and track entertainment through the weekend. Before the race, guests also got to meet and chat with driver of the #22 Pennzoil Ford, Joey Logano. Through the Best Seat in the House program, contest winners from Core-Mark and RacePro Products were able to watch the race from the top of Joey's pit box, a ticket that you can't buy and can only get through the benefits of sponsorship. While some guests were seasoned race fans, we also welcomed those enjoying NASCAR for the very first time. We hosted a group from the United Farmers of Alberta, a large lubricants customer who got to come down to Las Vegas to experience Pennzoil in action at one of the fastest laboratories around.

“Thank you for allowing my customers and I to attend this event. It was so much fun and my customers loved it! We ran into a group all wearing the Pennzoil 400 gear, my customers want to come back! That race will be so much fun and Harry was pointing out where all of the signage will be next year and possible hospitality areas and seating, etc. Harry at Sport Dimensions was really good...he made the event even better for us!”
