Joey Logano, Shell-Pennzoil & Team Penske Are Two-Time NASCAR Cup Series Champions
Joey Logano and the No. 22 Shell-Pennzoil Ford Mustang race team finished the season where they began - in victory lane. Logano capped off the 2022 NASCAR Cup Series (NCS) season with his second championship title in four years following his victory at Phoenix Raceway in the NASCAR Championship Race.
Logano and the No. 22 Shell-Pennzoil Team Penske race team delivered what was needed to take home the 2022 NASCAR Cup Series Championship on Sunday at Phoenix – a dominating performance. Logano won the pole and led the most laps in the race (187 of 312) before taking his fourth checkered flag of the season and third at the 1-mile Arizona speedway.

Shell Leadership Was Onsite to Celebrate the Win in Phoenix
We hosted global Shell leadership across multiple business units to meet with Team Penske leadership including Roger Penske and Greg Penske. Joey Logano and Team Penske dominated the race and executed in all the right ways to come home with Joey’s second NASCAR Cup Series championship. The group enjoyed victory lane after the race and plenty of time to celebrate and connect with each other.
